What to do with it?

Expanded polystyrene (EPS) or styrofoam can be recycled for free at Geelong Resource Recovery Centre.

Alternatively this material goes in the rubbish bin.

The material cannot be recycled using your yellow lid recycling bin.

Did you know?

Polystyrene is a lightweight, rigid cellular plastic that is used widely as a packaging medium.

Its shock absorbing characteristics lend it to uses as storage and transport of fragile and expensive items such as electronic equipment, chemicals and wines.
