Goldsworthy Reserve is a significant sporting asset for the Geelong community.
The reserve is well developed athletic field with an athletic track, high jump, hammer throw cage and extensive athletics opportunities which is well used by the Corio Little Athletics Club and school groups throughout the region.
Goldsworthy Reserve playground is a new district level, nature based playground.
The new playground spans 4700 square metres of land behind the Goldsworthy Reserve athletics track. Pathways lead from Goldsworthy Road, Delaware Street and Maryland Drive.
The playground is based around the stories and landscape of the Wadawurrung.
