The Mount Duneed Progress Association is a group of residents from Mount Duneed and district who meet to monitor local issues.
Monthly meetings provide residents with the opportunity for social interaction and to voice concerns on local developments, roads, safety and use of the land.
Current issues include:
- the impact of the Geelong Ring Road on Mount Duneed roads
- a high speed link road to Surf Coast Highway
- resident safety
- increased traffic noise
- signage
- safety at local road intersections and speed limits
- the Armstrong Creek Urban Growth Area development
- Mount Duneed history and
- fracking
Past guest speakers have included City of Greater Geelong and Surf Coast Shire mayors and councillors, federal and state politicians and VicRoads representatives
