Victoria State Emergency Service (SES) is the control agency for flood, storm, tsunami and earthquake in Victoria, managing responses to these emergencies and helping communities to prepare through planning and education.
SES also operates the largest road crash rescue response network in the state and as well as providing a support role to other emergency service agencies.
The Bellarine SES Unit is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers who have been helping the local community since 1977 by responding to emergencies right across the peninsula.
