RSL was founded in 1916 to provide mateship and support to Australia's veterans and their families.
That mission has never changed but continues to evolve to meet the needs of each generation of servicemen and women.
The way we help varies greatly and is always tailored to the needs of the individual, and it may include such things as:
- assistance with DVA pensions and advocacy
- combating social isolation through veteran engagement programs
- Hhme and hospital care visits.
The Drysdale RSL started in 1952 and has a small but active membership in what has become a growing area.
Our monthly meeting advises all in attendance of the latest news from the RSL and also what is happening in Drysdale and Clifton Springs area.
Following the meeting a light afternoon tea is provided.
