The Barwon Valley Woodwrights was established to encourage an interest, and provide guidance in the many disciplines of woodwork including:
- woodturning
- carving
- furniture making
- boxmaking
- scrollsawing
- pyrography
- toymaking etc.
Public demonstrations are undertaken periodically, and an annual Woodwork exhibition to the public is held towards the end of each year.

Free services are provided to the community. Assistance given to kindergartens, playgroups, underprivileged children, etc in the way of construction or repairs to wooden toys and equipment. |
