VicRoads is the Planning Authority for Amendment C369 to the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme.

This amendment applies to land within the City of Greater Geelong.

The amendment amends the Public Acquisition Overlay (PAO3) to facilitate the construction of the Drysdale Bypass and insert a new Incorporated Document titled Drysdale Bypass into the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme. The amendment affects land adjacent to the existing Planning Acquisition Overlay (PAO3) originally reserved for the Drysdale Bypass in 1983, and nearby land along Jetty Road.

The project extends for approximately 5.9km between Jetty Road and Whitcombes Road.
The project is being undertaken to provide a Bypass diverting vehicles around Drysdale, reducing congestion and improving safety throughout the township. The project is referred to as the Drysdale Bypass.

Specifically, the amendment affects land east of Jetty Road from the intersection at
Portarlington Road and Grubb Road, to the intersection at Whitcombes Road and
Portarlington Road, as illustrated on the Public Acquisition Overlay maps.
