Independent Panel was appointed to review submissions. It conducted a Panel
Hearing on the 5th April 2017. The Panel has
provided its report to Council and a copy is provided below under “Panel
Hearing Documents”.

Council considered a report on the submissions of this Amendment on 31/01/2017 and resolved to refer them to an Independent Panel.
A copy of the Council's Delegate's Report is provided below.
Anyone who made a submission will be notified about the Panel Hearing (the first step is a Directions Hearing) and given an opportunity to present to the Panel.

Amendment C327 has now closed.

Council has prepared
Amendment C327 to the planning scheme. The Amendment proposes to rezone land
bounded by Geelong-Portarlington, Batman, Allens and Tower Roads, Portarlington
from Farming Zone to General Residential Zone – Schedule 1 and to a apply a
Development Plan Overlay and Design and Development Overlay – Schedule 14.
The land is within the Settlement
Boundary for Portarlington in the adopted Portarlington Structure Plan.
