Part 1 - Applies the Special Building Overlay Schedule 2 over  the land at 50-68 Canterbury Road West. The amendment also proposes to apply the
Special Building Overlay Schedule 2 over the adjoining land Residential 1 Zone land at 26-48 Canterbury Road, Lara  

 

 

Part 2 - rezones land at 50-68 Canterbury Road West from Farming Zone to General Residential Zone (GRZ).  Concurrent with the preparation of the planning scheme amendment, a planning  permit application is also made pursuant to Section 96A (i) of the Planning & Environment Act 1987 which proposes a Staged Multi-Lot Residential 1 Zone  subdivision of  approximately 128 conventional size lots.
