What is Amendment C300?
The previous State Government released new residential zones for Victoria. The new residential zones- Residential Growth Zone, General Residential Zone and Neighbourhood Residential Zone- replaced the existing Residential 1, 2 and 3 Zones.

Council prepared  Planning Scheme Amendment C300 to include the new zones in the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme. Amendment C300 implemented the Residential Growth Zone, General Residential Zone and Neighbourhood Residential Zone into the  Planning Scheme. The amendment made consequential changes to the Planning Scheme including the Local Planning Policy Framework, Planning Overlays and Incorporated Documents.

The amendment also updated the  Planning Scheme maps in accordance with the recently introduced Commercial Zones.
