The amendment applies to Lot 2 on Plan of Subdivision 643978K, 270 – 300 Plantation Road, Corio and PC371677, 312 – 302 Plantation Road, Corio.
The amendment rezones the land from Low Density Residential Zone to Residential 1 Zone land and introduces a schedule to the Development Plan Overlay (DPO26) into the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme. The amendment also seeks the partial removal of Schedule 4 to the Environmental Significance Overlay (ESO4).
The amendment will enable the residential use and development of the land consistent with state and local planning policies. The DPO will ensure that the land is planned and developed in a fully integrated and comprehensive manner to ensure that issues including drainage, open space and traffic management are addressed prior to the commencement of the development.
